The greenest building is one that has already been built. By applying creative thinking to an existing structure that no longer functions for the purpose it was designed for, a new purpose and an extended life can be achieved.

About Strong Towns Regina
Our Organization
Strong Towns Regina is a non-partisan group of individuals who want to change the conversation about growth and development in Saskatchewan's capital city.
We are an idea incubator, educator, and advocate for a model of growth that will make Regina prosperous and resilient for years to come.
We will share information, collaborate, and work with others in the community to introduce new, productive ideas and concepts to the conversation.

Our Mission
We seek to replace North America’s post-war pattern of development, the Suburban Experiment, with a pattern of development that is financially strong and resilient.
Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that we are located on the traditional lands, referred to as Treaty 4 Territory, the original lands of the Cree, Ojibwe, Saulteaux, Dakota, Nakota, Lakota, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation.
We strive to respect and honour the Treaties that were made on all territories and we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past. This includes the residential schools and their devastating legacy.
We are committed to moving forward in partnership with all Indigenous Nations in the spirit of collaboration and reconciliation by using the 94 Calls To Action outlined by the Truth and Reconciliation Commissions report as our guidepost.
